Gemma Edwards

Senior Paraplanner

About Gemma

I have 20 years of experience in the financial services profession.

I began my career at a local bank, and then transitioned to a firm as a trainee paraplanner in 2006. During my time there, I earned my Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.

One particular area of expertise includes trust and Inheritance Tax planning. I love helping clients create strategies to meet their specific financial needs and goals.

I enjoy working with a wide variety of clients, as each brings their own unique challenges and goals. Whether they’re saving for retirement or just planning to slow down and retire, every client has a different perspective and set of needs. This makes my work both interesting and rewarding.

Gemma outside of work

I’ve been married to my husband Justin for 14 years. We have two children and a lively French Bulldog.

As a family, we love discovering new places and dining at local restaurants.

In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, as well as going to comedy shows and music concerts with my husband.

Gemma in the spotlight

My proudest moment as
an IFA has been…

Achieving my diploma. Balancing self-study with being a busy mum was challenging!

The three things I love
most about my job are…

Helping people, finding solutions to challenges, and the fact that no two clients are ever the same.

The types of people I
most enjoy working with are…

Those who are focused on succession planning to secure their family’s future. I find it fulfilling to help them create a clear plan that ensures their loved ones are taken care of and their legacy is preserved.
